Concor Engineering adopts an integrated approach to structural, mechanical, platework and piping (SMPP) solutions within the mining, minerals beneficiation, petrochemical and energy sectors, as well as the pulp and paper and sugar industries. This methodology has seen the division gain a solid reputation as the contractor of choice.
Concor Engineering boasts a multi-disciplinary spread of resources which, coupled with extensive experience and expertise, allows the division to successfully undertake contract management of projects from the shop detailing phase, through to final on-site commissioning and handover.
Concor Engineering has access to the necessary capacity, resources and communication processes to deliver fast-track contract management through the entire process.
Concor Engineering’s structural steel detailing office employs various computer aided programmes including the latest 3-D version of X-Steel and AutoCad to ensure that quality best practice detailing is applied. Electronic data transfer is harnessed to facilitate better information exchange.
The company has the ability to fabricate structural, mechanical, platework and piping within tolerances and to international best practice standards. Its in-house fabrication facility specialises in structural steel and platework heavy fabrication.
When necessary, trial assembly is undertaken prior to structural steel and platework being dispatched to site.
Concor Engineering undertakes on-site erection and construction of all structural steelwork, platework and piping, as well as the installation of mechanical free issue components provided by other suppliers. The division also provides the necessary management structures to oversee sub-contractors during this phase of the project providing a seamless workflow.
