Concor Mining has 25,4% effective Black Ownership.
In terms of the DTI scorecard is currently rated at level 8 and is constantly improving its rating due to the following initiatives being implemented:
- As a fully accredited Training Provider with the Mining Qualifications (MQA) SETA and ISO 9001:2000 certification Concor Mining’s Training department is dedicated to the enhancing and developing of employees through in-house and external training.
- Our Employment Equity Ratio is continually being improved as a result of our Employment Criteria and Skills Development Programmes.
- Preferential procurement is given to suppliers who comply.
- Endeavoring to employ from the local communities
- And supporting them through initiatives such as feeding programmes for orphans, adoption of local schools and enterprise development.
